BIKER’S CLUB IN NEPAL





As western culture, these days’ bikers in Nepal also have their community. They get together and organize different events like bike races, stunt shows, touring, and skill’s ride-tech championship. It has created huge enthusiasm in Nepalese riders. They are getting opportunities to explore their skills and talents through races and stunting and for fun through touring in their bikes. The most popular biker's clubs in Nepal are: Biker's Boyz and Merobike.com. They promote safety riding techniques and use of helmets and safety gears and at times conducts different race events, stunting, etc. to promote their riders and they also contribute some part of their revenue collected form such events to the society and rest they keep for their club's welfare.

Bike races are quite popular in South American and European countries. The most popular bike race event in the world is grand prix racing. And for long life, bikes need regular maintenance, which is very costly. And nowadays, modifications to bikes have been quite popular in our country. But it has resulted in many accidents, whose victims are especially young boys who are fond of bikes and loves of modify their bikes. Therefore, many people die in a bike accident in our country who is especially young boys of 20-25 years of age. And due to modifications, traffic policemen have become very tight and conduct checking almost regularly, which results in bribes and corruption.

ADVANTAGES OF BIKES


Bikes are very popular in developing countries including Nepal as well. Since our country has very narrow roads, so the best means of transportation is a bike. It is easy to learn how to ride a bike and even though it is small than cars and buses, it can be very quick and can prevent us from traffic jam. In our country, there is at least one bike in each house and it has become a necessity for all. Every guy including girls here are fond of bikes.The other reason behind the popularity of bikes is due to its price. It is usually chap and anyone can afford it in comparison to a car. And it also gives better mileage than other vehicles. It consumes less petrol in comparison to a car.

CATEGORIES OF BIKES



Bikes have been categorized into different categories according to its looks/style and according to its purpose/capacity.According to the looks/style, bikes have been categorized into three types. They are: Road/street bike: They are normal bikes, which are used for daily purposes. They look simple and easy to use. It is suitable for both city ride and long rides. Some of the examples of road bikes are Pulsar, Unicorn, etc. Naked bike: As the name suggests these kinds of bikes looks naked. It means these bikes have no engine cover and they look mean and muscular. For example: FZ, MT-01, etc. Dirt bike/off road bike: Dirt bikes are the bikes which are used off the road. It is used for touring and trekking. And they are usually heighty. It means they have more ground clearance than road bikes and naked bikes. They are also called motocross.And according to purpose/capacity, there are three types of bikes: City commuter bikes: These are the bikes of below 135cc of engine. They are useful for city rides. So they are called city commuter bikes. Scooters and mopeds also come under city commuter bikes. Premium sport bike/ Executive bikes: These are the bikes of 135cc to 200cc engine. They are also called executive bikes because they are usually used by office executives and office goers. Sport bikes: Sport bikes are the bikes of more than 500cc category. They are specially used for racing purpose and by bike enthusiasts. They are usually big bikes and little bit complicated than small category bikes.

Bikes generally means a vehicle for transportation, which runs from electric motor. So, it is also known as motorbike. In our country's context, bikes are the most easiest means of transportation. Bikes has many parts for functioning as human beings also have different parts of body in order to function the whole body. Therefore, the most important part of the bikes are engine. The engine determines the power and overall performance of the bike. It is generally determined in cubic capacity.
Bikes has both advantages and disadvantages. Since it is a two wheeler machine, it is quick and it helps to prevent from traffic jam. But at the same time, it is a risky machine as well. It can lead us to accidents as well. Therefore, if you can take advantages of the bikes in the right way, you can gain benefit more than you had imagined.
